ANTHROPIC has tapped JP Morgan to lead U.S. retail share placements for its IPO,
people familiar with the matter said. JP Morgan CEO DIMON is expected to
participate in the bank’s IPO activities. ANTHROPIC is considering allocating
roughly 15–20% of the total offer to U.S. retail investors. CITIGROUP will
coordinate retail sales to international investors, sources said. Per the IPO
prospectus, the offering will also be marketed in Australia, Canada, Japan,
select EEA countries, Switzerland and the UK. JP Morgan previously led retail
subscriptions in SpaceX’s roughly $86.2bn IPO.
