Iranian President Pezeshkian thanked Russia for sustained political, security
and economic support and welcomed continued growth in bilateral trade. He said
US unilateral actions in the region underscore the need to reinforce
multilateralism and to expand interaction among sanctioned states, adding
regional countries do not need to rely on the US and can address challenges
through intra‑regional cooperation. He said, on that basis, Iran and Russia are
expected to deepen cooperation across technology, economic, industrial,
cultural, security and military sectors.
