Oct 28 — MOFCOM convened a national teleconference in Beijing to review implementation of the consumer-goods trade-in program and deploy next-step tasks. MOFCOM said that since 2026 the programme, coordinated with regional authorities and other departments, has driven over 2 tln yuan in related sales and benefited more than 250 mln people, supporting consumption growth, industrial upgrading and circular recycling.

Industry sources said passage permits for the Kerch Strait, linking the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, will be issued through Nov. 15.
