Hyundai Motor cut its 2026 annual profit guidance, citing weaker global auto industry demand, production disruptions and rising raw-material costs.

Xinyisheng said raw-material supply has been broadly tight this year and lead times for key inputs have lengthened as industry deliveries surge, requiring earlier planning. The company said it is prepared to meet Q4 and next-year order deliveries and is confident it can satisfy sharply higher delivery demand. It expects capacity and output to rise sharply in Q4; Chengdu and Thailand sites are undergoing simultaneous rapid expansion, and the company is optimistic on next year’s market.

Shell CFO said the company still regards share buybacks as a good opportunity.
