The CEA says the measure would lower electricity bills and raise real wages nationwide. Supporters call it a once-in-a-generation chance to sharply shorten federal approval timelines for oil pipelines, wind farms and other energy projects. The bill is a priority for President Trump and Congress is expected to vote on it after next week’s midterm elections.
