Oct 29 — China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun responded to reports
that North Korea launched more than 10 short-range ballistic missiles into the
sea. Asked whether the launches violated UN Security Council resolutions, Guo
said China noted differing assessments of the projectiles' classification and
urged relevant parties to address the root causes on the Korean Peninsula,
pursue a political solution and act to maintain regional peace and stability.
