China’s first AI service street opened in Shenzhen’s Longgang district, offering
exhibitions, consumer experiences, leasing and access to the full robotics
production chain. In 1H this year Chinese humanoid robot models topped 400 and
output exceeded 40,000 units; industry estimates expect full-year production to
surpass 100,000 units. A Shenzhen robot 6S store is prioritizing rentals over
sales, offering dozens of rentable units — robot dogs, guide robots and
greeter/performance robots — with rents from 1,000 yuan to several hundred
thousand yuan (the cheapest option is 1,000 yuan for a one-day robot-dog
rental). The store integrates sales, parts, after-sales and feedback with rental
and bespoke customization, creating an end-to-end service hub for the robotics
supply chain.
