On Oct. 30 the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of
the State Council (SASAC) held a meeting to convey the Fifth Plenum of the 20th
Central Committee and deploy implementation. The commission stressed maintaining
a high-pressure anti-corruption stance, tightening controls and supervision over
the exercise of power, and strengthening anti-corruption accountability and
clean‑governance culture. It required central SOEs to ensure completion of
annual production and operating targets and to implement robust safety
production, supply‑guarantee and price‑stabilization measures to better serve
party and state priorities.
