Swiss President Guy Parmelin arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport on the morning of the 30th to begin a three-day visit and will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping. The visit coincides with the 10th anniversary of the China-Switzerland innovative strategic partnership. Free-trade cooperation is the main focus; Switzerland was the first continental European country to sign an FTA with China, which has been in force for more than a decade and has supported bilateral trade.
