China Securities Association on Oct. 30 released a collection of 34 AI application case studies for the securities industry, covering seven areas: operational efficiency, client experience, decision support, model innovation, R&D efficiency, risk and compliance, and integrated solutions. The collection’s preface says AI is reshaping financial business models and industry use is shifting from pilot exploration to scaled deployment, with large models and intelligent agents being applied in wealth management, investment research and risk control, and operations. The association’s China Securities Industry Development Report 2025 cites sustained cash investment: securities firms’ IT spending reached 41.088 billion yuan in 2024.
