Oct 30 — President Xi met Swiss President Guy Parmelin in Beijing. Xi said China
will accelerate development of new-type productive forces and steadily expand
institutional opening-up, aiming to make the Chinese market a global, shared
market. Both sides agreed to deepen exchanges and policy coordination and to
step up innovation cooperation in the digital economy, green energy storage and
artificial intelligence to build collaborative, high‑quality industrial and
supply chains and promote beneficial uses of AI.
