Rabobank economist Stefan Koopman said the Bank of England is likely to raise
rates at its Nov. 5 decision, possibly on a 7-2 vote. LSEG data shows markets
currently put a 98.6% probability on a 25bp move next week. Koopman said
energy-driven inflation persists and is increasingly forcing the MPC to act,
though there is currently no evidence of broader second-round price effects.
