Iran supreme leader Mujtaba Khamenei told senior military commanders to maintain high readiness and apply strong force to achieve maximum deterrence, ordering immediate, effective responses to threats of any level or form that are not constrained by geography. Shibani gave no detail on whether support might include sending troops to Yemen; Damascus has previously denied reports Riyadh asked for Syrian deployments.
