On Nov. 1, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy told media he is willing to hold a
face-to-face meeting with Russian President Putin in Turkey and urged Turkish
President Erdogan to use his communication channels to facilitate talks.
Zelenskiy said delegations and technical working groups cannot resolve some
issues and that the two heads of state hold final decision-making authority; he
backed Turkey as the meeting venue and emphasized he wants to speak directly
with Putin because final decisions rest with him.
