Entering H2 2026, US tech has oscillated around high-frequency AI narrative shifts, and transmission from bond CDS to equities has raised near-term market volatility. The sell-off in US semiconductor hardware since early October remains consistent with trading patterns established since mid-June, but macro liquidity stress and midterm-election uncertainty have weighed more than transient AI-driven pessimism. With major macro and industry shocks largely cleared in the past 1–2 weeks and AI optimism partially returning, CITIC Securities sees a potential post-midterm rebound in US tech and recommends semiconductor hardware as the primary exposure.

Chinese automaker Geely Auto sold 310,200 vehicles in October, up about 1% YoY. Jan–Oct YTD sales were 2,545,700 vehicles, up 3% YoY. Geely brand sales in October were 255,700 vehicles, up 4% YoY. Lynk & Co sold 22,000 vehicles, down 45% YoY. Zeekr sales rose 52% YoY.
