China's CSI 300 index closed up 31.42 points, or 0.79%, at 4,016.92 on Nov. 2 (Monday); Shanghai Composite rose 39.01 points, or 1.08%, to 3,638.03. Shenzhen Component gained 176.89 points, or 1.63%, to 11,010.68. ChiNext added 45.07 points, or 1.87%, to 2,458.70. STAR 50 index jumped 36.10 points, or 3.11%, to 1,196.94.
