China A-shares closed higher after a broad intraday rally; ChiNext Index rose
1.87% after jumping more than 3% before noon. Shanghai Composite +1.08%,
Shenzhen Composite Index +1.63%. Turnover on Shanghai and Shenzhen exceeded 1.7
tln yuan and more than 4,600 stocks advanced. AI application names led gains;
cinema-chain stocks surged with Bona Film and Zhongshi Media hitting daily
limits. Gaming and cultural-media sectors outperformed. Banks faded after an
early rally; precious metals underperformed throughout the session.
