PBOC's Pan told the NPC Standing Committee the report reviewed financial work
since Oct 2025 and assessed current economic and financial challenges. He said
the central bank will continue to implement a moderately loose monetary policy
to support sustained, higher-quality growth; further strengthen and improve
financial regulation to boost supervisory effectiveness; deploy monetary policy
tools to support capital markets and consolidate market-stabilization
mechanisms; and maintain stability in equities, bonds and FX markets while
upholding the bottom line against systemic financial risk.
