Greenland's Self-Government parliament on Nov. 3 approved a security agreement
signed by the US, Denmark and Greenland on Sept. 22 in New York. The pact still
requires Danish parliamentary approval; Denmark's parliament will begin review
on Nov. 12 and is expected to complete it on Nov. 19. The agreement will enter
into force once Greenland and Denmark have both completed approval and formally
notified the United States.
