China and Moldova held their 9th intergovernmental economic and trade
cooperation committee meeting in Shanghai on Nov. 4. China said it is willing to
expand imports of Moldovan wine and other quality agricultural products and to
encourage Chinese firms to invest in Moldova, targeting e-commerce, digital and
green-transition sectors. China invited Moldova to promote products at the China
International Import Expo and to develop cross-border e-commerce and services.
Both sides agreed to pursue greater trade and investment liberalization and to
uphold the WTO-based multilateral trading system.
