Local time Nov. 4, US President Trump made his first public appearance since
midterm losses, briefing reporters on progress at a White House banquet hall. He
said if his name had been on the ballot they could have won, that he might be
able to get along with Democrats, and that Democratic efforts to impeach him
would destroy the Democratic Party.
