At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Lithium carbonate hit its daily limit, rising 9%, while the container shipping index (European route) rose over 6%, and ferrosilicon, iron ore, coking coal, rebar, and hot-rolled coil all rose over 1%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 4%, Shanghai gold fell over 3%, and polysilicon fell nearly 3%.
