[Futures Hotspot Tracking] Platinum and palladium futures on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange opened higher but closed lower on their first day of trading. Palladium futures narrowed their gains to 4.16%. Institutions pointed out that in the long term, the shortage of platinum is becoming more prominent, while the structural weakness in palladium demand is relatively insufficient to support demand.
