At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with platinum up nearly 7%, palladium up nearly 3%, silver up over 2%, tin, industrial silicon, and eggs up nearly 2%, and glass, palm oil, soybean oil, and urea up over 1%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe, staple fiber, asphalt, and lithium carbonate fell over 1%.
