The ChiNext index rose more than 1%, while the Shanghai Composite Index is currently up 0.47%. Energy metals, lithium mining, batteries, precious metals, lithography machines, organosilicon, and PCB concepts led the gains. About 2,000 stocks rose and 3,300 stocks fell across the market, with a net outflow of about 29 billion yuan from major funds.
