At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Ethylene glycol (EG) rose over 2%, while Shanghai silver, propylene, butadiene rubber, plastics, the average monthly price of plastics, and white sugar rose over 1%. On the downside, palladium fell over 9%, platinum fell over 5%, lithium carbonate fell over 3%, Shanghai tin fell over 2%, Shanghai nickel, rapeseed meal, alumina, and coking coal fell over 1%, and pulp and coking coal fell nearly 1%.
