The A-share financial sector fluctuated higher, with Northeast Securities rising over 3%, Ping An Insurance and China Pacific Insurance both rising over 1%, and other stocks such as Jinlong Shares, Caitong Securities, China Life Insurance, New China Life Insurance, and PICC following suit. The People's Bank of China's Monetary Policy Committee, at its fourth-quarter meeting in 2025, pointed out that it is necessary to make good use of the swap facilities between securities, funds, and insurance companies, as well as the relending for stock repurchases and increases, to explore normalized institutional arrangements and maintain the stability of the capital market.
