On December 26, the inaugural meeting of the Standardization Technical Committee for Humanoid Robots and Embossed Intelligence under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in Beijing. The establishment of this committee is an important measure to implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, leverage the guiding role of standards, strengthen the supply of high-quality standards, and promote the maturation and application of humanoid robot and embodied intelligence technologies. The committee will primarily be responsible for the formulation and revision of industry standards in the fields of basic commonalities, key technologies, components, complete machines and systems, applications, and safety related to humanoid robots and embodied intelligence. Its secretariat is located at the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
