At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Platinum and palladium hit their daily limit down, both falling 13%; Shanghai tin fell over 4%, lithium carbonate and Shanghai silver fell nearly 4%, Shanghai gold fell over 3%, and international copper, Shanghai copper, and European shipping contracts fell over 2%. On the upside, Shanghai nickel and glass rose over 3%, and methanol and soda ash rose over 2%.
