At midday close, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Shanghai nickel and aluminum rose over 2%, while alumina, aluminum alloys, glass, and polysilicon rose over 1%. On the downside, platinum fell over 12%, palladium fell over 5%, Shanghai silver fell over 4%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) fell over 2%, and fuel oil, coking coal, SC crude oil, and ferrosilicon fell over 1%.
