At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose. Shanghai tin rose 8%, Shanghai silver rose over 7%, fuel oil and platinum rose over 5%, palladium and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 3%, and benzene rose nearly 3%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell nearly 3%, polysilicon and glass fell over 2%, and caustic soda fell over 1%.
