At the opening of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with Shanghai silver up over 6%, fuel oil up over 5%, Shanghai tin up over 4%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) up over 3%, platinum, palladium, SC crude oil, and benzene up over 2%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and methanol up nearly 2%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell over 3%, glass fell over 2%, and caustic soda, soybean meal, coking coal, and coke fell over 1%.
