EIA Natural Gas Report: For the week ending January 9, total U.S. natural gas inventories were 3,185 billion cubic feet, a decrease of 71 billion cubic feet from the previous week and an increase of 33 billion cubic feet from the same period last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.0%. This is also 106 billion cubic feet higher than the 5-year average, representing an increase of 3.4%.
