At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Benzene rose over 3%, silver rose over 2%, and styrene, industrial silicon, and gold rose over 1%. On the downside, tin fell over 5%, lithium carbonate fell nearly 4%, butadiene rubber fell over 3%, and iron ore and glass fell nearly 3%.
