According to sources familiar with the matter, Air India is expected to post a record annual loss, with the fiscal year ending March 31 projected to lose at least 150 billion rupees (about $1.6 billion), as last year’s fatal air crash and airspace closures wiped out the company’s efforts to return to profitability.
