At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. Platinum rose over 9%, palladium rose over 7%, lithium carbonate and silver rose over 5%, gold rose over 4%, and crude oil, tin, copper, and international copper rose over 1%. On the downside, coking coal and coke fell over 2%, soda ash, alumina, caustic soda, butadiene rubber, and glass fell over 1%, and styrene (EB), rebar, and pulp fell nearly 1%.
