The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has released an implementation opinion on promoting the high-quality development of low-altitude insurance. The opinion proposes that by 2027, a mandatory liability insurance system for unmanned aerial vehicles will be initially established, and low-altitude insurance products will be continuously enriched to better meet the protection needs of various application scenarios; by 2030, a basic policy framework for low-altitude insurance will be formed, and its role in protecting the safe and healthy development of the low-altitude economy will be continuously strengthened.
