At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with caustic soda rising over 3%, soybean meal and coated paper rising over 2%, and soybean meal and soybean oil rising nearly 1%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 9%, SC crude oil fell over 5%, platinum, palladium, lithium carbonate, and Shanghai tin fell over 4%, Shanghai nickel fell over 3%, international copper, Shanghai copper, and Shanghai gold fell over 2%, and stainless steel (SS), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), paraxylene, and asphalt fell over 1%.
