At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. Shanghai tin rose over 5%, Shanghai silver rose over 2%, and aluminum alloys, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fuel oil, and Shanghai aluminum all rose over 1%. On the downside, synthetic rubber fell over 2%, PX and PTA fell over 1%, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene glycol (EG), and caustic soda fell nearly 1%.
