At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Shanghai tin rose over 8%, platinum over 5%, ferrosilicon over 3%, and palladium and manganese silicon over 2%. On the downside, alumina fell over 3%, while propylene, methanol, plastics, and PVC fell over 2%.
