At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Container shipping to Europe, fuel oil, and SC crude oil hit their daily limit up. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 11%, methanol rose nearly 11%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 8%, propylene rose over 7%, and polypropylene, ethylene glycol (EG), benzene, and plastics rose nearly 6%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell over 11%, tin fell over 7%, platinum fell over 4%, silver fell over 3%, and palladium fell over 2%.
