At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Container shipping to Europe rose over 15%, SC crude oil and fuel oil rose nearly 10%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose nearly 7%, polypropylene (PP) rose nearly 3%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), plastics, and Shanghai aluminum rose over 2%. On the downside, platinum and Shanghai silver fell over 5%, polysilicon fell nearly 5%, Shanghai tin and lithium carbonate fell over 4%, palladium fell 3%, and Shanghai gold fell nearly 3%.
