At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with SC crude oil up nearly 13%, container shipping to Europe up nearly 8%, benzene and styrene hitting their daily limit, caustic soda, fuel oil, and synthetic rubber up over 6%, PX up nearly 6%, PTA up over 5%, lithium carbonate up nearly 5%, and apple and bottled chip stocks up nearly 4%. On the downside, methanol, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and coking coal fell nearly 1%.
