At the opening of the night session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with caustic soda and benzene rising over 4%, while low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and SC crude oil rose over 3%. Fuel oil, ethylene glycol, paraxylene, asphalt, and plastics rose over 1%. On the downside, tin and aluminum fell over 2%, while aluminum alloys, stainless steel, liquefied petroleum gas, and nickel fell over 1%.
