At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with the majority rising. Contracts for European shipping, SC crude oil, fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), methanol, caustic soda, benzene, styrene, asphalt, BR rubber, liquefied petroleum gas, coking coal, ethylene glycol, bottled chips, staple fiber, paraxylene, PTA, urea, palm oil, rapeseed oil, propylene, PVC, plastics, polypropylene, soybean meal, soybean meal, and soybean oil futures all hit their daily limit up. Rapeseed rose over 8%, while soda ash, glass, alumina, and coke rose over 7%. On the downside, Shanghai tin fell over 3%, and palladium and platinum fell over 2%.
