[Zelensky Says Ukraine Has Deployed Drones and Experts to US Military Base in Jordan] According to Ukrainian sources on March 9th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine has deployed a team of interceptor drones and experts to a US military base in Jordan to assist in defending against drone threats. He said the US requested assistance from Kyiv on March 5th, and the Ukrainian team subsequently departed for the Middle East on March 6th. Zelensky stated that in the initial days following the US and Israel's actions against Iran, he and his team received calls from leaders of Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia requesting relevant defense assistance.
