At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with paraxylene hitting its daily limit up. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) surged over 14%, SC crude oil rose over 11%, PTA and bottled fiber rose over 10%, fuel oil rose over 9%, and staple fiber rose over 7%. On the downside, apples fell over 3%, silver and palladium fell over 2%, and lithium carbonate fell over 1%.
