The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz cannot be considered in isolation from the overall situation in the region, as the disruption of shipping through the strait was caused by a war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime. Any country or international organization concerned with peace and security must responsibly and unflinchingly condemn the crimes of these two regimes and demand that they cease their military aggression against the Iranian people.
