The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that an attack occurred Tuesday night, based on information provided by Iran. The IAEA stated that a building located 350 meters from the Bushehr nuclear power plant reactor was hit and destroyed. Although the reactor itself was not damaged and no personnel were injured, any attack near or inside the nuclear power plant violates the seven essential principles for ensuring nuclear safety and security, and should never occur in armed conflict.
