Crypto.com is cutting about 12% of its workforce, roughly 180 employees, as it
integrates AI across its business. The Singapore-based exchange cited rising AI
capabilities as the reason. This follows broader digital finance layoffs,
including Gemini’s 25% reduction and Block’s nearly 50% workforce cut linked to
AI-driven productivity shifts.
